About the Cell
The Placement Cell of the College of Commerce, Arts & Science works to bridge the gap between industry requirements and the talent available among students. The Cell focuses on identifying student potential, developing employability skills and creating meaningful opportunities for students to interact with the corporate and professional world.
The Cell is involved not only in placement activities but also in training programmes, career guidance, skill development, industry interaction and activities that prepare students for recruitment processes.

Objectives of the Cell
Industry Connect
To maintain close liaison with industries, institutions and organisations to facilitate placement opportunities for students.
Recruitment Drives
To arrange recruitment drives and other placement-related activities for eligible students.
Career Development
To organise career talks, personality development programmes and activities that improve professional readiness.
Skill Enhancement
To upgrade student skill sets according to industry expectations and improve employability.
Career Awareness
To generate awareness among students about career options, recruitment opportunities and future professional pathways.
Soft Skills
To motivate and counsel students regarding industry practices, communication and other essential soft skills.
Major Initiatives
Communication Skills and CV Support
Training is organised to improve English communication, CV writing and interview preparation. Students' CVs are also reviewed before scheduled interviews.
Training Programmes
The Cell supports technical and employability training through programmes associated with organisations and industry partners.
Soft Skill Development
Activities include English-speaking courses, group discussion preparation and technical programming skills such as Python, MATLAB and C++.
Incubation Centre
The Training and Placement Cell has a dedicated Incubation Centre focused on technical skill development, innovation and practical learning.
